PONTHIER selected the Bergeron apricot which comes from the Rhone Valley, the perfect terroir for this variety. The Bergeron variety produces apricots with a fabulous flavour: tangy, fleshy, tasty, soft and fragrant. At the same time acid and bitter, bergamot perfectly matches with the light almond fragrance of the apricot. It is therefore quite obvious for Maison PONTHIER to unite these 2 fruits within a tasty and innovative coulis.
