Small in size, highly concentrated in sugar and pigments, it is perfectly flavoured, fleshy and nonfibrous. The Indian terroir guarantees excellent fruit quality thanks to acidic and very rocky soil. Ponthier buys its mangoes from small producers who have been working with mango trees for many years and handharvest the fruit. The trees are treated naturally with natural organic or mineral fertilisers sprayed directly onto the foliage.
